The video game sector has developed massively in the last years, up to the point of recreating parallel universes that allow users all around the world to interact together. A recent study reveals that approximately 3000 million people in the world play video games, around 40% of the world population. Asia is the current leader with 1400 million players. Europe stands second with 668 millions of consumers. Then, South America and North America follow with 383 and 261 million players respectively.
